ITV have commissioned brand new eight-part gameshow The Genius Game – the ultimate reality game of intelligence and betrayal, an adaptation of the hit South Korean show created by CJ ENM.
In this extreme competition of building alliances, strategic thinking in a battle of wits and manipulation, produced by Remarkable Entertainment (a Banijay UK Company), ten players with their own crucial unique skill will compete against each other in matches that test their strategic thinking and social skills, that will keep viewers guessing right to the end.
Players are chosen based on their intelligence, charisma and social IQ, with the game testing their analytical reasoning, attention to detail, memory and loyalty, as participants must form alliances to survive and decide who they can trust and who to betray in order to be crowned ‘the Genius’ to win a cash prize.

The Genius Game is commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment at ITV and Joe Mace, Commissioning Editor, Entertainment Commissioning, ITV. The Genius Game was originally created by leading entertainment company CJ ENM that is known for creating hit formats that travel globally.
