Lucinda Hicks was appointed CEO of Banijay UK in July 2020 following the acquisition of Endemol Shine by the Banijay Group. She oversees the [29] production companies and labels within the UK group and is responsible for the strategy, direction, growth and day to day operations of the business.

Previously holding the position of COO of Endemol Shine UK, Lucinda joined from the Shine Group in 2015, which was acquired by Endemol in the same year.

During her time at Shine, working closely with Elisabeth Murdoch and Alex Mahon, Lucinda worked across a number of areas of the business including the Metronome Group in Scandinavia and the digital operations, before becoming COO and then Joint MD of Dragonfly Film and Television.

Lucinda has held a number of strategy and commercial development roles within the UK television industry including FremantleMedia, Channel 4 and BBC, having originally begun her career as a management consultant.
