The wait is almost over as today ITV revealed that Big Brother, the original social experiment, is set to return for a new series on Sunday 6th October at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
Hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, Big Brother: Live Launch will reveal a new batch of housemates as they prepare to take up residence in the nation’s most iconic house, which has been given a fresh lick of paint ahead of the new series.
Expect gripping nominations, elaborate tasks, live evictions plus new twists and turns with all the must-see action playing out inside this famous abode. The public once again holds all the cards, voting throughout the series and ultimately deciding who will leave this experience with a life changing cash prize. Who wins? You decide.
Big Brother: Late & Live also returns to ITV2 and ITVX offering viewers exclusive, unmissable action alongside hilarious discussions and deliberations with a star-studded panel of celebrity guests. Big Brother: Late & Live also remains the only place to watch evictees first live interview with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.
The iconic Big Brother: Live Stream will also return to screens, airing seven nights a week on ITVX, giving fans the opportunity to watch live footage from the house into the small hours after Big Brother: Late & Live.
Since its triumphant return to screens last year on its new home ITV and ITVX, Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother (produced by Initial, part of Banijay UK) alongside the iconic Live Stream and Late & Live companion show, has been streamed 70 million times.
Big Brother is commissioned for ITV2 and ITVX by Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning & Acquisitions and Controller, ITV2 and ITVBe and Peter Tierney, Commissioning Editor, Reality. The return of Big Brother was secured by leading entertainment and format producers Natalka Znak and Claire O’Donohoe for Initial (part of the Banijay Group) marking their first of many format deal for the business since they joined in 2022. Big Brother is overseen by Initial’s Managing Director Katy Manley and Creative Director Tamsin Dodgson.
